1981
Deep Drill was founded by B.G.H. van Amsterdam. He laid the groundwork for a company built on practical field experience and reliable execution.
1987
One of our three rigs headed out on transport to Basel, Switzerland. An early example of operating across borders with equipment and people.
1990
We launched Rent a tube and built our first pipe inventory. That step improved availability and speed for our customers.
1991
A break during pipe-cleaning work at the Deep Drill yard in Oostoever, Den Helder. On the photo, Jurriaan van Amsterdam, today our Managing Director, is the fourth from the left.
1996
Delivery of our facility on Celsiusstraat in Heerhugowaard. B.G.H. van Amsterdam officially opened the building, with his mother proudly posing for the photo.
2012
An article by the Province of North Holland highlighted family-owned businesses and featured three generations at Deep Drill.
2014
Construction of the tower at Havenkade, our current location. A clear landmark and a next step in our continued growth.
2025
Deep Drill turns 44 (founded in 1981). We keep building on the same foundation: craftsmanship, safety, and service. Ready for the next projects in geothermal, oil & gas, and subsurface storage.
