Adapters ensure a reliable and leak-proof connection between different components within the pressure control system. They make it possible to connect different diameters, pressure classes or connection types without compromising safety or functionality.
Deep Drill supplies a wide range of flanged and studded adapters for applications in geothermal energy, oil and gas drilling and salt extraction. Our adapters are made from high-quality steel and have a corrosion-resistant coating.
The adapters are available separately, but are also supplied as part of composite pressure control assemblies, such as when supplying or renting a BOP stack. On request, we can supply customised adapters tailored to your installation.

What are adapters used for in pressure control?
Adapters are used to safely connect different pressure components or pipes, for example between a BOP and a wellhead or choke manifold.
What is the difference between a flanged and a studded adapter?
A flanged adapter has flange connections on both sides and is secured with bolts and nuts. A studded adapter has a fixed set of threaded ends (studs) on one side and is screwed directly onto a flange. This ensures a more compact installation and is often used in confined spaces.
Are your adapters suitable for high-pressure environments?
Yes, we supply adapters up to 10,000 PSI that are suitable for applications in corrosive environments.
Can I order an adapter separately?
Certainly. We supply adapters as separate components, but also as part of composite configurations such as a complete BOP setup.
What if I need a non-standard connection?
No problem. We also supply customised adapters based on your technical drawing, specifications or sample part.
Do you offer adapters for hire and for sale?
Yes, we offer both options. Renting is attractive if you want to remain flexible in your operation or temporarily expand your stock. You get immediate access to approved, fully deployable adapters – without a long-term commitment.
