Adapters are used to securely connect different components within a wellhead system or pressure line. They enable the transition between different pressure classes, diameters or connection types, without compromising reliability or integrity.
Deep Drill supplies an extensive range of flanged, threaded and studded adapters, tailored to drilling conditions in geothermal energy, oil and gas extraction, CO2storage and salt extraction. Our adapters are made of high-quality steel and are supplied with the correct fit, seal and test certificates.
Adapters are available separately or as part of a composite wellhead configuration. You can either purchase or hire them, depending on your project requirements.

What are adapters used for within a wellhead system
Adapters connect components with different sizes or connections, for example between a casing head and a BOP, or between flange, screw and stud connections .
What is the difference between a flanged and a studded adapter?
A flanged adapter has flange connections on both sides. A studded adapter has fixed threaded ends on one side and offers a more compact installation in limited spaces.
Can I order adapters separately or only in combination with other equipment?
Adapters are available separately, but are also often supplied as part of composite configurations such as BOP stacks or wellhead assemblies.
Are adapters available for hire and for sale?
Yes, we offer both options. Rental is ideal if you need temporary extra capacity or if you want to test without a fixed investment.
Are customised adapters also possible?
Certainly. Based on your technical specifications, installation diagram or old component, we can usually provide a suitable solution.
