About the product
Tubing and casing together form the critical piping systems of every well. Casing stabilises the borehole and protects it from collapse and external influences. Tubing ensures controlled production or injection of fluids within that protective structure.
Deep Drill supplies casing and tubing in various sizes, material grades and thread types, suitable for geothermal energy, oil and gas extraction, salt caverns and CO₂ storage. Our pipes are resistant to high pressure, temperature and corrosive environments such as those that can occur in gas storage.
Casing is available for sale only. Tubing is available for both sale and hire, depending on the application. We are happy to advise you on the choice of materials, specifications and accessories that suit your project.

- Lengths: R1, R2 and R3 (according to API 5CT and 5L )
- Material: carbon steel or alloy steel, CO₂ resistant
- Wall thickness and weight: in accordance with API standards or customer specifications
- Threads: EUE, NUE, LTC, BTC or premium threads
- Optional: couplings, protectors, drift test, pressure test and NDT inspection

What is the difference between casing and tubing?
Casing is the structural outer pipe that protects the wall of the borehole. Tubing is the inner pipe through which production or injection fluids flow during the life of the well.
Is tubing also available for hire?
Yes. We offer tubing for both sale and rental, depending on the duration and purpose of your project.
Is casing available for hire?
No. Casing is only available for sale.
Are these pipes suitable for CO₂?
Certainly. We supply pipes with material and sealing specifications that are suitable for CO₂ injection.
Can I have casing and tubing delivered to my specifications?
Yes. We tailor the length, wall thickness, material and thread type entirely to your design. Couplings and accessories are also included.
What will I receive upon delivery?
All pipes are delivered with thread protection, marking and, if desired, inspection certificates and measurement reports.
