For Alex Ott, joining our team as Sales Business Manager on February 1st feels less like a new chapter and more like a return. Alex worked for us earlier in his career, and our straightforward way of working has always stayed with him.

From the Rig Floor to the Boardroom

Alex brings over 30 years of experience in the European energy sector. He began his career on drilling rigs, gaining hands-on experience before transitioning into commercial leadership. This blend of field knowledge and commercial insight helps him build genuine partnerships.

"Because of my background on the rigs, I understand the operational challenges our customers face every day. That experience is invaluable for building trust."

In his new role, Alex will focus on strengthening our relationships across Europe through personal contact and integrity.

Our Operational Backbone

Alongside Alex, we are pleased to welcome Mildrid Klopper as our new Sales Support Supervisor. A successful sales force requires a flawless back office, and Mildrid brings over 30 years of experience in the oil, gas, and maritime industries. Having worked with organizations such as Parker and Weatherford, she is the ideal person to ensure our logistical processes remain seamless as we grow.

Growth and Innovation

This expansion coincides with a dynamic period for us. While we maintain our core focus on pressure control equipment and tubing rentals, we are also broadening our horizons:

• Premium Drill Pipe Rental: We are launching a new partnership for premium drill pipe rental, with the first project scheduled for April.
• Digital Presence: We recently launched our redesigned website at www.deepdrill.com with faster routes to rental, sales or services, detailed product sheets for our offering and one entry point to our Sales team for questions and requests.
