FAQ section.

  • What exactly does an accumulator unit do?

An accumulator unit supplies hydraulic pressure to activate BOPs or other shut-off valves, even when power or pump power fails. The accumulated hydraulic pressure in the bottles acts as a buffer that can be used when the pressure control equipment needs to be operated. This keeps the installation safe, even under extreme conditions.

  • What applications do your units support?

Our accumulator units are suitable for oil and gas drilling, geothermal energy, salt extraction and underground injection projects, such as CO₂storage. They are often used as part of a complete pressure control system.

  • Can I rent and purchase these units?

Yes, we offer both rental and sales. You can choose from standard configurations from stock or customised solutions with specific modifications.

  • What is the advantage of renting?

Renting gives you access to a certified, ready-to-use unit without having to invest in maintenance, storage or obsolescence. Ideal for those who want maximum control without long-term commitments.

  • Do you also provide on-site service?

Certainly. We offer installation, flushing, pressure testing and periodic maintenance – both in our workshop and on site worldwide.
